Getting Ready for the Fourth of July

Whatever you plan to cook on the grill this 4th of July holiday, stop in and let us help you pick out an amazing Oregon Wine to pair it with. With over 400 choices currently on our shelves, you will find something in your price range that will be the perfect match.

Traditionally seasoned (salt, pepper, garlic) grilled red meats, like your favorite steak or ribs, are best matched with a heavier red wine such as a Cabernet Sauvignon or a blend. If chicken is on your menu, pick up a Chardonnay or Pinto Gris. Going for the all American burgers & hot dogs? You are safe to pair those with any heavy red wine. We have several suggestions for you. If the weather delivers and we have that 80 plus degree day as we are being promised, pick up a bottle of Rose to enjoy while you are preparing all of the great food you have planned.

Caprese Salad

Fresh mozzarella slices, topped with sliced vine ripened tomotoes and basil leaves.

Drizzle extra virgin olive oil all over the top,

then season lightly with sea salt and black pepper.

Easy and delicious!
